Firm Mission:

My staff and I are constantly aware that each client is an individual whose case is very important. Clients are treated as people, not numbers. As such, calls from clients are returned promptly and courteously. We also try as much as possible to keep clients informed as to the status of their cases and to let them know what they can be doing to help their case move towards a successful conclusion.

Areas of Practice:

I have been practicing law since 1985. Currently, my practice involves representation of people with a wide range of legal problems, including:

  • Social Security Disability / SSI claims
  • Personal injury claims
  • Drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney, Trusts, and domestic partnership agreements
  • I work frequently with gay, lesbian and transgendered people to prepare legal protections to respect and protect their relationships. My firm works to overturn discriminatory laws and until these laws are changed, helps clients with the documents necessary to protect them and their loved ones in the event of disability or death. I can also help to protect the relationship that non-biological parents may have with the children they are rearing.
  • Administering estates to distribute assets after death
  • Discrimination cases, primarily involving HIV/AIDS;
  • Generally addressing gay/lesbian/transgender/HIV legal issues
